Meet Dani

Certified Classical Pilates Instructor | Psychologist | World Traveler | Mom

I became a Pilates instructor after entering motherhood. My work as a therapist was incompatible with raising twin girls and a boy, while constantly moving to different countries. I needed something I could take with me everywhere I went. I entered the Pilates world first as a client, which awoke a thirst for learning about a discipline that revolutionized exercise by focusing on how to strengthen the body from within.

Around the World

I began my Pilates journey in my home country, Chile. Later, my family and I moved to Colombia, where I continued progressing into more complex exercises. Next stop was Mexico in 2013, where I met Classical Pilates Instructor Amanda Villarreal, who introduced me to international academy for teacher training Power Pilates, where I received my Comprehensive Training Certification after 600 hours of study, practice, and my first years of work. Three years later I landed in Colombia again, this time with three kids and a certificate. There I bought my first equipment units and began with private lessons.

Romania was next, and there I consolidated my practice, building a community around Pilates and the principles that uphold its philosophy of wellbeing and overall balance. Life has brought me now to Winston-Salem, NC, where I want to share with the local community the wonders of Classical Pilates, the benefits for your health, and how to find that inner strength!

Additionally, I have completed the Pilates Professional Advanced Teacher Training Program, known as 'The Red Thread Certification,' Being a part of this selected group of teachers around the world, this training is under the guidance of Kathryn Ross-Nash.
